Hi, I'm Elizabeth Getchell, PA-C.
I'm a Physician Associatewith more than 13 years of experience in cardiology and the founder of Schoodic Hope & Healing.
Throughout my career, I've cared for patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, and other chronic health conditions. Over time, I realized that many of these conditions could be prevented—or significantly improved—with earlier intervention, education, accountability, and support.
That's why I created Schoodic Hope & Healing.
My goal is to provide a more personalized approach to healthcare—one that focuses on prevention, meaningful relationships, and helping patients create lasting change.
My Philosophy
I believe healthcare should be proactive, not reactive.
I believe small, consistent changes can lead to remarkable results over time.
Most importantly, I believe every patient deserves a plan, support, and a healthcare professional who genuinely cares about their success.
That's the foundation of The Schoodic Method™.
A Little More About Me
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS University. For more than a decade, I've worked in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology, helping patients improve their cardiovascular and metabolic health.
Outside of medicine, I'm a wife, mom, and proud Mainer who values faith, family, health, and living life with purpose.
My Mission
My mission is simple:
To help people take control of their health before chronic disease takes control of them.
Because health isn't just about adding years to your life.
It's about adding quality back to your years.
